The potential of renewable energy in Delhi is very limited, having scope of Rooftop solar and Waste to Energy (WtE) Plant. As per Delhi Solar Policy 2016, the total potential of Rooftop solar in Delhi is 2500 MWp. However, as on date, total installation of Rooftop solar in Delhi is around 300 MW.
